Despite their struggles to provide basic needs, Praise’s parents cared for her and her siblings with great love and care. However, after her father's passing, life became increasingly difficult. Praise often missed school to help her mother with farm work, leading to failing grades due to exhaustion.
When her mother passed away a year later, Praise went to live with her elderly great-grandmother. She and her sister took on all household responsibilities, forcing Praise to drop out of school entirely.
Watching her peers attend school while she was stuck at home, caring for her great-grandmother, was a painful reminder of her circumstances. But everything changed when Praise was selected to join the Orphan Shade foster family

Praise now feels secure and loved. She enjoys healthy meals and has discovered the joy of praying together as a family. Praise has come to understand that Jesus loves her, thanks to the guidance of the house parents.
She's grateful to Orphan Shade for giving her a second chance. With access to education and a tutor, Praise's future is looking brighter. She's thankful for the support of everyone who contributes to Orphan Shade, praying that God blesses them all.
